Zellijes are entirely handmade and are the oldest mosaic tiles in the world. The works shown in the photos are made by local artisans, and are composed of geometric pieces hand-cut and welded onto floors and walls from a mixture of sand and cement. They can be composed of infinite shapes in bright or opaque colors. They are available to cover small and large surfaces, or in small framed works in cedar wood. You can send us your design or text and they will be custom made. Send us the words you would like to have engraved, and contact us for details on the production and cost. This product supports the creation of the Letterary Caffe, the first coffee shop that we create in the neighborhood. By ordering two pieces, you will have your name engraved in zellije in the café and we will send the second piece to the person of your choice.
