Creative Camp Marrakech 2025
From 1th May To 10 July 2025
10 days of design and handicraft workshops in the heart of Marrakech
Creative Camp Marrakech 2025 is sponsored by the Afrika-Maroc Association as part of the Zawya social project.
The project comes to life in 2021 with the aim of redeveloping a deprived area of Marrakech’s Medina by engaging young people through education and job placement with a theme closely related to arts, crafts and design. In September 2022, the headquarter was inaugurated, which is located in a tower in the heart of the neighborhood and houses the school for Moroccan children and the creative workshop dedicated to outsiders. Subsequently, specialized ateliers were opened in the area adjacent to the headquarter; these are small production workshops specializing in a particular craft technique that serve at the same time as a
concept store to promote the collections developed by the district. The specialized ateliers
also produce for third parties, developing collections for international designers and artists and local and foreign concept stores. During our experience we understood the fundamental and mutual importance, of creating a creative and cultural bridge between Moroccan and
internationals, so that they could exchange visions and knowledge while enriching their own baggage.
Hence the idea of Creative Camp was born: to give life to a sharing space through a bridge between North Africa and Europe.
